I am studying film and television for 4 years, some changes that could be made or that I would like to make possible are several. With regard to the curriculum, I would have liked it to be much more practical and not so academic by adding branches of research on practical or artistic workshops. There could be many more artistic courses such as makeup, special effects, set making etc... As for the academic burden, it could be much less by not forcing EFB or CFG, courses that are attached to the career that increase the academic burden, in addition to being able to reduce the number of courses to benefit the quality and thus shorten the duration from 5 to 4 years. As for the infrastructure of the university, the conditions or the appropriate infrastructure to carry out artistic careers is currently quite precarious, there could be more recording studios, rooms or workshops for the construction of scenography, more cameras and different materials needed for audiovisual creation. 6 Time travel to the future

In the future I would like to be able to travel to outer space, and to be able to travel between planets and stars. I do not know if currently anyone can travel to space for fun, and if they did I think it would be very expensive. Perhaps by the year 2050 there will be a much more accessible and popular space tourism. I would only like to be able to visit and know what the extraterrestrial universe is like and connect with the universal energy since it is something totally unknown to all human and non-human animals on this planet. More than anything there are speculations, legends and different thoughts, ideologies and studies regarding the stars and everything that lives in the sky. In this same sense, I would not like the other planets or stars to be invaded through human exploitation. I hope they are never the task of human extractivism. I have read    (  I do not know if it is true or false )  that they want to extract minerals from the moon and exploit this natural satellite so i

Post 5: Education in times of Strikes.

In this post I will write about some milestones of education in Chile in the neoliberal Latin American oasis. I chose this country because it is a reality in which I am inserted and because it is an unequal, precarious and discriminatory educational system. ´La revolución pinguina´ named after the historic and massive student marches in 2011 and from there until today, they have brought small milestones that have superficially transformed Chilean education in recent times. As of 2016, the gratuity implemented in the government of Michelle Bachelet begins to rule, this has a great impact since public education is opened and allows students to have the right to study without getting into debt.  Also, years later, the ´Ley de inclusión escolar´ was enacted, which encourages the non-selection of students in municipal schools. There really have not been many historical milestones in recent education because education is still a business and it is not a safe space for the promotion of knowle

my pet

In my life I have only had one animal that has lived with me. My pet was a dog and his name was Cosmo. I remember we brought my dog to Santiago when I was only five. At my aunt’s house in Talca, a dog had several puppies and I wanted to adopt one. I insisted that my family adopt it. My dog was very kind to us, needed a lot of affection and enjoyed being loved by us. He respected his space and his freedom because sometimes he did not like physical contact or that we invaded much his space. In fact, I remember he bit me a couple of times. He was also a very good guardian and liked to eat a lot. He was a black dog, had short hair and was large in size. He died last year and it was very sad for me because he was with us for more than a decade. I still love him very much and I thank life for giving me the chance to have a pet and live with a non-human animal.

my favorite TV shows when I was a kid

When I was a kid, my favorite TV shows I remember were SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Rocket Powers, Drake & Josh, among other great series that today are classic cartoons. I watched a lot of Nickelodeon with my brothers. Currently I can still enjoy some of those animated series, I recently watched Hey Arnold. When I was 10 or 11, I remember enjoying watching Hi-5, a TV show for kids on Discovery Kids. It was a very famous Australian program in Latin America. On the other hand, I really liked watching Chilean TV series like Los pulentos. An animated series of kids who make hip-hop music. I loved the characters of Tom York and Jorge, the dog. At that time I was also watching a television series broadcast by Mega called BKN. This series was about a group of young people who wanted to make a band. I remember enjoying listening to their music. It is currently on digital platforms such as Spotify or YouTube. From that same television channel, I remember watching series like

The Best Holidays / Concert Ever

One of my best holidays was the summer of 2020, just before the impact of the pandemic. For that summer I was able to travel with my family to Colombia for two or three weeks. Some activities we did were touring the city, sailing, visiting different beaches and enjoying the varied local cuisine. We were able to visit different places such as Medellín, Bogotá, Santa Marta and Cartagena. This trip has been one of my best vacations of this last time and especially after the pandemic and the confinement that this virus brought. Also because I had the possibility to travel with my family and because I loved the geography and biodiversity of Colombia. It is a country that I would like to be able to return to and I believe that it should be largely protected against the extreme neoliberal capitalism promoted by the governments of that country and that one of the countries with the greatest biodiversity of species and ecosystems in the world is dying out.

A country you would like to visit

The country I would like to visit is Uruguay, why? because of its politics, landscapes, beaches, and because what I know about this country makes me believe that it is a calm and fresh country to live or visit. I would like to visit Uruguay because I would like to know the reality of this country. Also because it is located in Latin America and marijuana is legalized. What I know about this country is that it borders on Brazil and Argentina and that one of its presidents was the great Latin American leader: Pepe Mujica. He is a Uruguayan politician who contributed to the historical decline of poverty and inequality in that country by promoting the more equitable distribution of wealth and carrying out various social projects, such as raising the minimum wage, legalizing abortion, gay marriage and the promotion of the use of clean and sustainable energy. If it were a country that adapted to my needs and ensured stability I could stay and live there. But as I do not know its reality as s
